Anthony has recently completed his PhD, “Investigating the phenomenology of design objects within a specific environment”, in partnership with Staffordshire University. The research is located at the confluence of interior design, curatorial practice and phenomenology; applying phenomenology as a tool for interrogating the presentation of objects, examining how presentation may change the meaning of both object and context and articulating propositions initiated as a result of such investigation.

“If someone is genuinely interested in the subject, it becomes possible to develop their enthusiasm through intellectual challenge and exposure to examples of best practice.”
